Company data API: website, founders, tickers and LEI
Facts about a company by name or Wikidata ID: official website, founding date, country, headquarters, industries, CEO, founders, parent, employee count, stock tickers and exchanges, and LEI, with Wikidata and Wikipedia links. Public domain data (CC0), best for established and listed companies. No match returns 404, uncharged. Use to enrich leads, vendors and counterparties or ground an answer about a company.
When to use it
- Enrich a lead, vendor or counterparty with its official website and country
- Look up founding date, headquarters, CEO, parent company and employee count
- Find a listed company's stock tickers, exchanges and LEI

Request
Over HTTP, with a card key from /credits:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer adt_…" "https://tools.funwords.eu/company?name=Spotify"
Or one of your 25 free calls, no key:
curl "https://tools.funwords.eu/company?name=Spotify&trial=1"
Without a key, the same URL answers 402 Payment Required with x402 and MPP terms, so an agent with a wallet pays per call in USDC (Base, Polygon, Arbitrum or Solana over x402; Base or Tempo over MPP) and retries.

Questions
Where does the data come from?
Wikidata (public domain, CC0), with Wikidata and Wikipedia links. It is best for established and listed companies.
What if there is no match?
The call returns 404 and is not charged.
How do I pay?
Each successful call costs $0.01; failed calls are not charged. The first 25 calls are free. Then pay with card credits (from $1; the key goes in an Authorization header or, for clients that can only fetch a URL, as api_key= in the URL) or per call in USDC over x402 or MPP. No account is needed.
