When an agent wants this

Company data lookup: profile, identifiers and website from Wikidata $0.01

Facts about a company by name or Wikidata ID: official website, founding date, country, headquarters, industries, CEO, founders, parent, employee count, stock tickers and exchanges, and LEI, with Wikidata and Wikipedia links. Public domain data (CC0), best for established and listed companies. No match returns 404, uncharged. Use to enrich leads, vendors and counterparties or ground an answer about a company.

Inputs: name: Company name to search for (give name or id); id: Wikidata item ID such as Q689141, instead of name.

Free first (25 successful calls per caller, no key):

curl "https://tools.funwords.eu/company?name=Spotify&trial=1"

With a card key from /credits, in a header or, when your client can only fetch a URL, in the URL:

curl -H "Authorization: Bearer adt_…" "https://tools.funwords.eu/company?name=Spotify"
curl "https://tools.funwords.eu/company?name=Spotify&api_key=adt_…"

Without a key the same URL answers 402 Payment Required with x402 and MPP terms, so a wallet client pays USDC per call and retries. Over MCP (https://tools.funwords.eu/mcp) this tool is company.

Questions

Where does the data come from?

Wikidata (public domain, CC0), with Wikidata and Wikipedia links. It is best for established and listed companies.

What if there is no match?

The call returns 404 and is not charged.

How do I pay?

Each successful call costs the tool's price; failed calls are not charged. The first 25 calls are free. Then pay with card credits from $1 (the key goes in an Authorization header or as api_key= in the URL) or per call in USDC over x402 or MPP. No account is needed.
