Current time API: now in any time zone, with time zone conversion
The exact current date and time in any IANA time zone (UTC when none is given), with UTC offset, weekday, abbreviation and Unix timestamp, daylight saving time handled. Optionally convert a given moment into up to 10 other time zones in the same call. Use when an agent needs to know what time it is, to schedule across time zones or to turn a timestamp into local time. A bare GET is the smallest paid end-to-end test of an x402 or MPP client.
When to use it
- Tell an agent what time it is, in UTC or any IANA zone
- Schedule across time zones: convert one moment into up to 10 zones
- Run the smallest paid end-to-end test of an x402 or MPP client with a bare GET
Inputs
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
zone | string | IANA time zone name, e.g. Europe/Stockholm or America/New_York (default UTC) |
at | string | Optional moment to convert, as ISO 8601 with an offset (default: now) |
to | string | Optional comma-separated time zones to convert the same moment into (max 10) |
Request
Over HTTP, with a card key from /credits:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer adt_…" "https://tools.funwords.eu/time?zone=Europe%2FStockholm"
Or one of your 25 free calls, no key:
curl "https://tools.funwords.eu/time?zone=Europe%2FStockholm&trial=1"
Without a key, the same URL answers 402 Payment Required with x402 and MPP terms, so an agent with a wallet pays per call in USDC (Base, Polygon, Arbitrum or Solana over x402; Base or Tempo over MPP) and retries.

Questions
What if I give no zone?
UTC. The result has the UTC offset, weekday, abbreviation and Unix timestamp, with daylight saving time handled.
How do I pay?
Each successful call costs $0.01; failed calls are not charged. The first 25 calls are free. Then pay with card credits (from $1; the key goes in an Authorization header or, for clients that can only fetch a URL, as api_key= in the URL) or per call in USDC over x402 or MPP. No account is needed.
